Watch out when you’re on Flash sites for the next day.
A pretty serious security flaw seems to have emerged in Flash, and Adobe ADBE -1.01% is moving quickly to try to make sure it doesn’t leave users exposed.
Essentially, a program stolen from Hacking Team, a government contractor, has been released into the computer ecosystem and could put a virus onto Flash users’ computers that would leave the machine completely unusable, reports Engadget.
Adobe is expected to have a patch out to fix the problem by tomorrow, but for now anyone using a Flash website is at risk. Read more about how the hack came to be at Engadget.
